Some my Tolumnias begin mold. I cleaned them (photos № 1, 2). And I replant them like my one old tolumniya (photo № 3) in empty terracotta pot (photos № 4, 5)
I hope Tolumnias will feel themselves better. |

With that kind of moss growth going on in your case I would think it is to wet in there for Tolumina though...just my thoughts as I know they will rot fairly quickly if they do not dry out completely fairly quickly.

Dear friend in Siberia - as you can see, we are all delighted to see what you are growing and how you are doing it in Siberia!! Congratulations on a job well done! You inspire me to consider how I might create an indoor case for growing as well.
Like our friend, I am concerned for you when the bark breaks down. It may be a while until it happens, but surely it will. Keep a close eye on the bark so you don't loose any of your beautiful plants! I think it worthwhile to consider the ceramic pebbles idea. Nevertheless, we are enriched by you sharing the beauty of your Orchidarium! Thanks for posting, and keep doing so. Isn't it great to be able to share with so many across the world? cheers, Don in Napa, California |

Thank you dr_dmd. Are you real doctor? I'm doctor too, I'm micro-surgeon.
I was inspired to create orchiterrarium by this photo 4 years ago http://www.epiphyte.ru/articles/2004...786/index.html |

Nice!, what is the material you are using? Looks like a EPIWEB like material cut in chunks. If so, that will resolve the rotting issue.
